Let me introduce myself 

My name is Glenn Slabbinck, and I'm a passionate animal photographer. At home, I share my life with two adorable cats, Mia and Harry, who never fail to bring a smile to my face. My love for animals started at a very young age. I've always been fascinated by everything related to animals, and that passion has only grown stronger over the years.

About ten years ago, I bought my first entry-level camera. The moment I took it into the woods to capture animals, a whole new world opened up for me. That was when I realized: photography is my true passion.

My love for capturing nature and animals eventually led me to a career as a professional pet photographer. I earned my photography degree at SNT in Bruges and continued to refine my craft through workshops and online training with internationally acclaimed photographers such as Monica Vander Maden and Claudio Piccoli.

What drives me is not only capturing the perfect moment, but also telling a story through images. Whether it's a wild animal in its natural habitat or a beloved pet looking lovingly at its owner, I strive to reveal the character, emotion, and beauty of every subject I photograph.

In addition to my professional work, I also volunteer as a photographer for Het Blauwe Kruis Brugge(local shelter). A few times each month, I collaborate with their team to photograph animals that are looking for a loving new home. It's incredibly rewarding to use my passion in a way that helps animals and supports a wonderful cause.

In 2025, I was honored to receive several distinctions at the International Pet Photography Awards. This recognition means a great deal to me — not only as a validation of my craft, but also as a reinforcement of my mission: to capture and share the special bond between humans and animals through my lens.

For me, photography is more than a profession — it's a way of life. Every photo I take is a tribute to the unique connection between people and animals. It's my greatest joy to capture and share those moments, and to express my deep love for both animals and photography.
